up supplies and then they start working. They don't stop until it is done.
In the haida tribe the men first peel of bark from the cedar wood tree. Then they peel the inside bark of the outside bark. Then they put the bark on a rack and half-way dry it out so that the women can weave it together and make baskets or clothing. The men also cut down the trees. Then they peel of sections to make panks. The planks are made to either to build houses or make boats. The inuit have it a bit harder.they have to wait at least 2-3 months just for food. When they do get food they don't waste any of it.Not even a bone or a eye ball.
The women would use the skin of the animal to make things. The food that they would get would last them months. They would use the oil from the animals to help light their lamps. When they run out of food they would go get some more every few weeks. The haida did the same. Both tribes have clothing made out of the skins of the animals and that they have killed. It is always tough skin so that it doesn’t fall apart.
For the Inuit they used sleds and sled dogs. But that was before snowmobiles . Still I am pretty sure that some of them still use sleds and sled dogs. For the Haida they usually go on foot or use canoes to travel. But now I am pretty sure they use trucks instead of going on foot or using canoes.
