Comparatively, in Clinton’s speech she talks strictly about women and that if we bring bring new dignity and respect to women that the families around the world would flourish.
“ I believe that now, on the eve of a new millennium, it is time to break the silence”. She believes that if the women use their voice, an action will take place to improve the equality of their lives. “I speak for them, just as each of us speaks for women around the world who are denied the chance to go to school, or see a doctor, or own property, or have a say about the direction of their lives, simply because they are women”. rights.
Likewise, both of their speech focus on a main problem, equality. They both want the women of the world to stand up for themselves whether it’s quietly or with their voice.”Today I am focusing on women's rights and girls' education because they are suffering the most”, states Yousafzai in her speech, and “if women are healthy and educated, their families will flourish.” says Clinton. Both women speaking about women’s education and how they are denied the access to it. They both agree that all women should stand up and fight for their equality and respect.
Given these points, women and children are enduring an extreme amount of poor equalism. Yousafzai focuses her speech mainly on the children and how their education is in danger. Clinton focuses on women, and how they have no rights, even in our own country. Both women, want the people of the world to stand up for more equal rights for everyone. They want us to speak up, whether its using our voice or ous words.
