There are many differences between middle school and high school. Transitioning between the two schools can be intimidating yet impelling for many people. Shifting from middle school to high school is a big change for many students. Compared to middle school, high school has a bigger size, more classes, and gives people more independence.
Middle schools and high schools have different sizes. Most middle schools are combined by surrounding elementary schools while high schools are combined by middle schools. Because high schools are combined of middle schools, they have a much larger size. Being in a much bigger school, students meet new people and have more opportunities. High schools usually have a lot more rooms and offer many classes.
