Have you ever had a little brat in your life? Does your child need discipline? Then hire Miss. Awful to discipline your child! This time we dive into two short stories to see how they compare and contrast! This is “Miss. Awful” by Arthur Cavanaugh VS. “Charles” by Shirley Jackson!!! The setting in Charles is at home. However the story Miss. Awful is in school. In the story Charles The main character is Laurie, The little brat who makes up “Charles’’ as a way to get out of trouble HE EVEN KICKED A GUY !!! And his parents are even worse letting him get away with these horrible things! And the teacher is giving attention to this which is the opposite of what you want. However Roger in Miss. Awful is way nicer and has more strict parents.
