Compare And Contrast Thank You Ma Am

The characters of the storys ,Thank You Ma’am, by Langston Hughes, and ,Because of Mr. Terupt, by Rob Buyea. The story “Thank You Ma’am” has a character named Roger, and he tried to steal the pocket book of a woman name Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones. He tried to steal the pocket book so he could get money for blue suede shoes. Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones took Roger back to her house where he washed his face and got to eat, after he got done with eating he had to go and that was when Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones gave Roger money so he could buy him self blue suede shoes. “Mr. Terupt” has a character named Alexia. Throughout the story she was always being a bully untill she was caught by Mr. Terupt, and at this part of the story was when everything changed for her (she was starting to be nicer to other people). Roger and Alexia are similar because of their actions and their feelings.
An example of this is that they both were bad at the beginning. I know this because Roger tried to steal the ladies pocket book and Alexia was calling Daniel names. This shows how they are similar of how they act. Another example of how they are similar is that they are both sneaky. I know this because Roger was thinking about escaping while he could and Alexia would always lie to get other people to like her and make others get fun of. Even though their from to different stories they are still kind of similar. These are all examples of how Roger and Alexia’s actions are
