Facing corrupt and unjust systems, not just government, but of church origin too. During an age of reformation, a priest named Martin Luther had a moment of revelation to “change the church.” At this time, the church was corrupt in priests having people pay for relief sin, bury the dead, and threatening if not paid the person's soul will have no salvation. Martin Luther demanded 99 reforms by the pope to change this. Stating that: 1. Faith, not good works, led to salvation, 2. Authority comes from interpretation, 3. All believers were of the church, and 4. All jobs are equal, no pope or priest is above any other citizen. Though the pope had Martin Luther excommunicated from the church, Martin Luther still fought on with his followers for church reformation.
