Durning the 1700- 1850 a lot of revlotions started to occur. From countires starting to develope new weapons, cultural change, and many diffrent forms of expansion. Between the American Revolution and the French revolution they each had there similarities and diffrences. The American revolution occured during 1776 to 1783 people wanted independence from Britian along with them being infuluenced by John Locke they wanted liberty and equality, they also wanted less tatation on the people. Thats how the 13 colonies started to disband themselves and broke away from Britian and gained independence and democracy.…
The French revolution and the American Revolution both have some similar qualities about them. Part of the reason is that they were both planned by Marquis de Lafayette. But they are also really different in other ways, because they are two different countries with different cultures and stuff. The American Revolution had a lot of help from the country France. They helped us economically and help with military. Once the American Revolution was over they became a republic and then went to Paris to sign the treaty. When the French return to their home country they realized that they didn't have the freedoms that we had and that they helped fight for. So France started to plan a revolution of their own.…
the Rights of Man does show some traces of it but not nearly as much as…
The American Revolution (A.R.) and the Reconstruction were difficult at the time, yet worth the obstacles. In a few ways they were similar, but they still maintain their differences. To put it into perspective, the Reconstruction was like an “American Revolution 2.0.” Not to say that Reconstruction was better than the A.R., but it is the same car but a newer, more modern model. It is almost the same story with different characters.…
The French Revolution was brought on, almost directly, by the American Revolution. After hearing of the war from returning soldiers, French citizens thought that they too could stand up against their tyrannical leaders to gain their own liberty and equality. Thanks to the success that Washington, Adams and Jefferson had in securing independence after the American Revolution, the French knew that it was possible to stand up against their leaders. They also saw that starting a rebellion could help them achieve the success and freedom they so desired.…
The consequence of a small argument between British troops and colonial militiamen in Lexington and Concord in 1775 kicked off the armed conflict. Rebels that happened the following summer were waging for their independence. France entered the revolution on the side of the colonists in 1778, it turns what had essentially been a civil war into an international conflict. With the help from France, the Americans effectively won their independence, though fighting would not end until 1783. The American Revolution was not completely a social revolution.…
The American and French RevolutionsThe French Revolution had many causes. The main causes were due to political, social, and economic conditions in France that contributed to the discontent felt by many French people-especially those in the third estate. The ideas of the intellectuals of the Enlightenment brought new views to government and society. The American Revolution also influenced the coming of the French Revolution. The philosophies planted the seeds for the French Revolution. Their goals were to expose and destroy the inequalities of an ancient regime and both revolutions did just that. The American and French Revolutions were caused by political, social, and economic factors.…
derived from, and in defense of one minority group. As the Colonists built their own societies and settlements in the New America, issues of contentions arose separating themselves from the rest of the British empire. The Revolution became a fight for themselves and their well being not the well being of anyone else. As ideas of Civil War arose around 1860-1861 the cause was for the black minority although not yet announced by Abraham Lincoln. Both the American Revolution and Civil War were powered through the desires of one minority group to rise up and fight against the traditional normalities.…
Nobody knows what specifically could've have caused the corruption of many head on battles towards others. Both the US and France have had conflicts towards each other. The thing is what caused them to have conflicts towards each other. The US is a strong federal republic country with 50 states, a federal district, territories, and possessions. It holds the most greatest battles that were ever created back then and still live on. France is a place that's full of medieval cities, villages, mountains, and beaches. Their known capital is Paris, which is worldwide for its classical artworks. Both the United States and France have many differences and possibly some similarities between each other, but nobody quite knows nor understand what they…
Two of the greatest revolutions in history were the, American Revolution and the French Revolution. The American Revolution was a big turning point in American History, and the French Revolution was a major event that impacted the history of the world. The American Revolution was the struggle to get liberty and independence from Great Britain. The French Revolution was fought to overthrow the oppressive government, they wanted justice and to be treated equally. Both revolutions have many similarities, which include unfair treatment by their government and a series of riots.…
The American and French revolutions introduced similar ideas in fixing society, but different methods of implementing ideas. The American Revolution was created by the American colonists need for financial independence from the overpowering nation of Great Britain, while the French revolution was a struggle to gain social equality among the masses. People claim that the French had a greater impact on a lot of things than the American Revolution, and I agree on it being true. Therefore, the French revolution had a greater impact on everything because it improved human rights, social equality, and being free from oppressive government. I will nextly explain the comparisons of ideas.…
The American, Revolution took place in the 1700s, The French Revolution was a 1789 battle, and The Mexican Revolution occurred in 1910. Each revolution began with the people unhappy with the role the government was playing. Lack of representation, prices of food being raised, and unfair presidential elections. The people were unhappy with the unfair share of power among small groups of people without a say in how they lived. Laws were made without any warning, taxes changed without any type of consent from the people that would be effected by the change, and those in government began to become power hungry.…
The French Revolution, one of the most popular revolutions in history, is one that resembles the American Revolution in many ways. In the French Revolution, King Louis XVI was overthrown and replaced with a new constitution, as was King George III in the American Revolution. Both of the new constitutions established an up to date government that was different than the previous one. The French Revolution and the American Revolution both involved a change in power but also both resisted a powerful monarchical government who was controlling them at the time. Both revolutions were a struggle for independence and the nation's identity, but the French were not forced to rebel against their own government as the Americans were and there revolution was very different as the fighting was not as prolonged. Since the American Revolution and the French Revolution were very much the same, with America having the tougher time, it can be concluded that the American Revolution was infact a…
The French Revolution and the Haitian Revolution made significant changes politically, economically, and socially. They both shared common characteristics of how the revolution began with a common precursor and method to achieve the end state. The pursuit of equality and liberty was the driving force that had awakened the French citizens and the Saint Domingue slaves to challenge and take action. While the two revolutions were similar, there were some differences. The French Revolution was an internal rebellion with the rise of the peasants and middle classes that fought to overthrow the monarch government, whereas the Haitian Revolution was a slave rebellion that revolted against an external threat, the French colonial government. The French Revolution occurred in 1789 and did not end until 1799. The Haitian revolution started in 1792 and ended in 1802.1 Both revolutions were fueled by the success of the American Revolution that ended in 1783. In addition, the Declaration of Man…
One of the numerous transformations that happened circa the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries was called The Revolutionary War known as the American Revolution. The American Revolution occurred in 1775 thru 1783. The American Revolution emerged from growing conflict between the 13 colonies of Great Britain and the colonial government. What prompted the American Revolution was that the British government needed to raise revenue by taxing the settlements which made the Stamp Act of 1765, the Townshend Tariffs of 1767, and Tea Act of 1773. This chosen Revolution went though economic struggles as well as politics.…
