Compare And Contrast The Handsomest Drowned Man And The Very Old Man With Wings
What if the strangest person you have ever seen appeared in your town? What would you do? In two different stories there are strange creatures in each one who arrive in a random town by sea? These two stories are much alike but also very different.

The stories "The Handsomest Drowned Man" and "The Very Old Man with Wings" have cognate similarities but also present differences.
In both stories and unusual creature shows up. In the two stories both men arrived by sea, and both men returned to the sea in the ending. the towns from each story came to see the strange men. Both men were different from the towns people. Also both are tall tales for children.
In the story "The Very Old Man with Wings" the townspeople called him the Angel-man. They

In Penny in the dust by Ernest Buckler, and Lamb to the Slaughter by Roald Dahl , the endings are very different.
