Federalism- system of government in which power is divided between a central authority and constituent political units

US Constitution- United States Constitution: the constitution written at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787 and subsequently ratified by the original thirteen states
Bill of Rights- the first ten amendments to the US Constitution, ratified in 1791 and guaranteeing such rights as the freedoms of speech, assembly, and worship.
