Samsung and Apple are two major competitors in mobile phone market. Their latest products in the market are Iphone 5 and Galaxy S3. A lot of mobile phone users think and try to decide which one is the best: Apple Iphone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3? Here is a short comparison about them.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 screen size is 4.8 inches. It has AMOLED HD display with a resolution ratio of 1280X720 pixel and features 306ppi pixel density. Galaxy S3 is one of the best 720p display mobile phones with vibrant colours and high contrast. AMOLED display is absolutely better than regular LCD display. Galaxy S3 measures 136.6x70.6x8.6 mm and weighs 133 gms . As far as hardware features are concerned, Samsung Galaxy S3 packs together 1.4 GHZ quad-core A9 processor and Mali 400MP GPU which is quite faster than its US version featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 SoC packing. Galaxy S3 uses Android sofware. Android is better than any other software as it allows multitasking. Multitasking allows to place, work and see two different programs or apps in the same screen simultaneously. Furthermore, we can download any application for free with Galaxy S3 PlayStore. This is an advantage compared to many non-free applications provided by Iphone 5 Appstore. Galaxy S3 is made of plastic. Samsung Galaxy S3 price is 2499 AED and it is cheaper than iphone 5. Both Galaxy S3 and Iphone 5 have same memory cards variants of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB but only Android variants have external SD card.
The Iphone screen size is 4.0 inches which smaller than Galaxy S3’s. The screen resolution of Iphone 5 is 1136x640 pixel and it features 326ppi pixel density. Iphone5 measures 123.8x58.5x7.6 mm and weighs 112 gms. Clearly it is visible that iphone 5 scores good in dimension. The Iphone5 is slimmer than Galaxy S3.
