William did it again folks. To think the great Will wouldn’t write and direct another play, well we were all wrong because William Shakespeare didn’t only write a piece he also directed his play. This play was about two young teenagers, Romeo and Juliet. Romeos parents and Juliet’s parents have feud with one another so imagine what would happen, if their two teenage children fall in love. I’ll tell what happens NOTHING. Yes that’s right nothing happens yet because these two lovers are smart and they do not want their parents to find out. Therefore, before Romeo fell in love with his princess he has another girl he loved and wished to marry and Romeos parents approved this young girl, she …show more content…
was smart, pretty and definitely not Juliet so they approved and thought Romeo was going to marry young Rosaline.
Not only did Romeo have someone to marry but a young man asked Juliet’s father if he could marry his daughter, Juliet’s father told the young man to wait two years so Juliet can grow up and have some experience when she marries young Paris. Romeo meets young Juliet at a ball, the Capulet’s ball. The Capulet’s where Juliet’s family and the Montague where Romeo’s family. The scene where the two lovers meet is known as the balcony scene. In this scene, young Juliet is calling Romeos name, Romeo climbs and they make out and show love to one another. They get to know one another then out of nowhere; the two young lovers plan to get married the next day, shocking right. Romeo and Juliet ask Friar Laurence to marry them he says yes thinking this would break the family’s hatred. The two secretly get married the next day. Juliet’s cousin Tybalt says he seen Romeo at the ball and wishes to duel him. Romeos friend, Mercuito was offended by what was said and took the duel on Romeos behalf. During the duel, Mercutio was badly hurt and passed away on the spot, very very sad scene. Romeo full with guilt and anger went to Tyblat and slays his young soul. The prince sent Romeo out of
Verona for his actions and that broke young Juliet’s heart. The poor girl’s parents thought she was sad that her cousin passed. At that moment Juliet’s father decided to make her marry Sir Paris or he would disown her as a daughter. The poor girl tries to tell her mom to postpone the weeding but her own mother rejected her and young Juliet had no one. She then visited Friar Laurence and asked him for help. He then gave Juliet a drug that when she drinks would put her to a deep sleep and her parents would think she died, and the of the weeding, the next day, they would have a funeral and after seventy-two hours she would wake up to see her dear Romeo. Friar sent Romeo a letter that had the plan on it but sadly, it never got to Romeo. The day of the funeral Rome’s friend shows up at Romeos trailer and tells him his wife has passed and Romeo was heartbroken and never wanted anything else but to lay with his wife in her crypt. Romeo and his friend drove to Verona and Romeo made a visit to an apothecary and purchased poison. At first, the man said no but Romeo gave him a hand full of cash and the man was very poor so he had no choice but to say okay and gave Romeo what he wanted but pointed out to Romeo that a little bottle like that can kill up to 30 men one time. Romeo then made his trip to the Capulet’s crypt. The guards were chasing Romeo, Romeo knew that they couldn’t enter the crypt so he ran as fast as he could and entered. Romeo wasn’t done yet he ran into Sir Paris the man who was supposed to marry Juliet. He demanded a dual, and Romeo killed Paris at that very spot. Romeo then made his way to Juliet’s body and kissed her on the lips. He then lied down beside her, held her hand and drank the poison. At that very moment, Juliet wakes up and see’s the bottle of poison and tried to kiss it of Romeos lips. There wasn’t enough poison for she looked over beside Romeo’s body and seen his dagger she then picked it up and stabbed her self and died right beside her beloved Romeo. The two families come to find their loved ones dead and at that moment the feud between the Capulet’s and Montague ended. This play goes to show that because of two families feud two lives have been taken and William Shakespeare dose a good job of showing that point and did a great job of showing love between two young lovers. This play didn’t only please the people but it also impressed thy Queen Elizabeth and we hope to see more of Williams work in the near future. Thank you for reading the article and we hope enjoyed it.
