The white man’s burden and The black man’s burden are both different viewpoints of the ways of Imperialism, such as positive consequences ways and negative consequences. The poem by Kipling,"The White Man's Burden" addresses the American colonization of the Philippine Islands, conquered from Imperial Spain, in the Spanish–American War in 1898; the birth of the American Empire. “The white man’s burden” has a viewpoint of imperialism of “savages” countries, countries that needed to be helped to live the best way,which are the countries that America has conquered by Imperialism,Kipling had the idea that America had the responsibility to educate and civilizing the native people that now it’s controlled. that they needed to explain them to the western culture, their religion and their customs.

It makes Kipling Understand that not everyone is agreed with his form of thinking, most of humanity don’t have this idea of Imperialism and its causes. So just take the responsibility, don’t blame the nearest to your door, 'Tis nearest at your door;Why he'd long bleeding Cuba,or dark Hawaii’s shore?. By blame other when they are the one wrong, “Hail ye your fearless armies, Which menace feeble folks, Who fight with clubs and arrows”, your strong armies and powerful guns, which fought with stones and sticks.
