Animal Farm is still relevent to read today because of major wars in history have connections and similarities to the Soviet Union. Are the Pigs in Animal Farm similar to how the people in the Soviet Union acted? Yes, there are very simular in many diffrent ways. In Animal Farm, George Orwell presents the idea that leaders use language to gain power which allows them to manipulate their citizens.In Animal Farm their owner Mr. jones does not treat them very well so the animal have a rebellion to get rid of him and make all the animals equal.
