Comparing Sleeping Beauty Waltz And Elegy To The Blind

This concert on Monday included many different interesting songs performed by the Bethlehem High School. I especially liked the symphony orchestra pieces. They seemed to tell a story was the people played the music pieces. These pieces were soothing and beautiful. My favorite two pieces in this concert was “Sleeping Beauty Waltz”, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and “Elegy to the Blind”. “Sleeping Beauty Waltz” was especially sweet. It was almost like a lullaby. The piece was fast and strong at times and at other times soft and sweet. I especially liked the climax of this piece. It had contained This piece is by far my favorite piece in the ones that people played at this concert. I recognized the tune from many places. I feel like parts of the tune was used in Tom and Jerry, which I watched a lot when I was younger. “Elegy to the Blind” was also a very pretty piece. I really enjoyed listening to it. Although my sister, who was in that concert, didn’t like that
“All of Me” was very unique. Normally the songs that I heard only had instrumental sounds, but this one had voice too. It was not just the voice that interested me, but the song in general was also decent. “Dance Like No One’s watching was probably the tune that I liked the most at the concert. Although the tune is simple, it was very catchy. The Head was also especially upbeat. “Shock Factor” was also unique. It was made up of various sounds including a occasional yell, sounding very nice put together. If there was one thing to describe “Baby Elephant Walk” it would be upbeat. It was a good jig. What was unique about this piece was that it seemed to tell a story about the title. I could picture a baby elephant walking and occasionally tripping.
