There are many differences and similarities in the book and the movie. In my opinion, I think that the movie is better. I believe this because It helps you visualize and allows you to notice the difference and similarities even if they are good or bad.
What did the directors and producers do to keep things the same and change things? One difference is In the book, Edward mentions how 'twilight' is the 'safest time of day for vampires. In the movie, the time of actual twilight is never made significant or mentioned. I think this was bad change, I think this because Bella needs to know that the safest time for Edward is during the twilight time I think they should've put this in the Movie as well.
One similarity is in the book, Bella dares Edward to eat human food in the cafeteria, but he says no with no explanation as well as he said it in the movie. I think

I believe this because it helps you visualize and allows you to notice the difference and similarities even if they are good or bad. One reason I like the movie better is because i can actually see the setting and how it affects the movie and the book at the same time. One example of the setting was when she moved from Phoenix, where it was sunny, cloudless blue to Washington state, a small town named Forks that exist under a near constant cover of clouds and rained more in town that it ever does in the United States Of America. I also liked the movie better because I can tell how well the characters played their role and if they connected to it somehow. One example of this is the movie moved faster than the book because the great casting and stunning visuals eliminated a hundred pages of description found in the

There are many differences and summaries between the book and the movie the coronals of Narnia the lion, witch and wardrobe. For example; “In the movie, they crossed that river (jumping over ice bergs, Megrim confronting them on the river, etc), while I'm pretty sure that in the book they didn't cross it, but walked along it or something... can't fully recall. Also, I'm pretty sure in the book they were only confronted by Megrims once after Edmund betrayed them (when Peter fought him), but in the movie there was also the aforementioned confrontation on the river.…

There are no huge differences between the two, but the movie does focus on different aspects of Minny’s life. For example, the novel does not put so much emphasis on Minny’s relationship with Leroy that movie does. The movie also seemed to focus on the important friendship between Minny and Aibileen. The novel, however, tends to aim focus at their separate stories and experiences. Overall, I believe the movie did a pretty good job with the portrayal of Minny’s character and circumstances.…

One thing in particular that the book does much better is making use of complex metaphors and themes, such as: the river for life, and oneness with nature, that string themselves together as you turn each page of the book, while in the movie the metaphors and symbolism are represented in a much different way through picture. In the book, both themes regarding the river are very vivid and clear, as they use strong imagery of nature to draw pictures in the minds of the readers. In the movie both themes are represented and referred to much less because of the lack of narration.…

When comparing the book Twilight, written by Stephanie Meyers, with the movie Twilight, screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg and produced by Catherine Hardwicke, there are multiple visual differences between the two. Some important scenes were changed or even omitted from the original text, leaving noticeable gaps in the movie’s plot. There are big and important differences, which are obvious, while there are also less important differences between them such as names and small missing details. The most important differences between the book and movie were when Bella tells Edward she knows he is a Vampire and when Edward saves Bella from Tyler’s van in the beginning. In reading the book before seeing the movie the phrase “The book is always better than the movie,” is proven true with Twilight.…

Since I have not seen the other movie versions of the novel, I cannot say what differences there were between the book and the other movies. The 1994 movie version starring Winona Ryder as Jo, Susan Sarandon as Marmee, Claire Danes as Beth, Kirsten Dunst as Amy, and Trini Alvarado as Meg is the movie version I chose for my comparison. As a movie lover, I enjoyed the movie yet was disappointed somewhat with it after having read the book.…
