In both the circumstances of genocides here, they began with war. The holocaust began with the world war 2 and on the other hand the Bosnia- Herzegovina genocide was the result of the Bosnia civil war. It is said that the Holocaust continued for about four years and the civil war which took place in Bosnia lasted for about three years. These events were made possible just after there were some major changes and some problems going on with the politics and the government of the country. It is known that when the Bosnia gained its independence from Yugo Slovakia but after this the armed forces of this country started something which was called the “ethic cleansing” meaning they were against all the Bosnian and Croatian citizens and started to kill these groups of people.
