Comparing The Novel 'Inside Out And Back Again'

In the novel “Inside Out and Back Again” the main character Ha, has faced many hardships in her life when she arrived in America. The title of this book is appropriate because the difficult days Ha had faced became better and she overcame those difficulties. “Inside out” is appropriate because when Ha had to leave her home because of the war, she had to go on a ship to get to America. On that ship, her life got worse and worse. They had no room to sleep, go to the bathroom and more. Ha says, “Bodies cram every centimeter below deck, then every centimeter on deck” (pg 63) When she was home before, she loved how her life was until she had to move because of the war. The second reason why is that her family did not have any more money to buy
