First of all In the two stories, they two tiger moms both forced their daughter to do what they did not want to do. In the first part of story “Two Kinds” from paragraph 5 to 7, it says :“The first night she brought out a story about a three-year-old boy...... One way to pronounce ‘Helsinki’ before showing me the answer.” this quote mean that Amy’s mother hopes her daughter could as genius as that boy, and Amy’s mother did not really care about how does Amy feel, in the next paragraph, it also says that Amy hates this. Similarity, in “Tiger Mother” in the first paragraph it says “forced her 7-year-old daughter Lulu to practice for hours on end ----’right through after dinner into the night,’ with no …show more content…
In “Two kinds” at part five paragraph 11-12 it says:”’only two kinds of daughters.’ ...... That this awful side of me had surfaced, at last.” this part really good prove that the Amy’s mother was not ready for Amy’s growth. So when Amy decide to fight with her right, her mother does not prepare really well, and she still wants Amy follow her’s plan. Differently in “Tiger Mother” Amy Chua fix it really well. In the last second paragraph, it says:“ Sophia can go out on dates and must practice the piano for an hour and half each day instead of as many as six hours. Lulu is allowed to pursue her passion for tennis.” It is mean that Amy Chua know her daughters are old enough to do their own decision, so Amy Chua compromises with her
