Comparing Trotsky And Snowball's Animal Farm
Animal farm is an allegory that implies the history of Russian revolution. Trotsky, who led the red army, was the archetype of Snowball, the sturdy pig based on strong leadership, the enthusiasm of spreading idealism worldwide and the rivalry between Snowball and Napoleon. Both Trotsky and Snowball have strong leadership. Trotsky was a passionate and influential leader that his strong speech won support within the Soviet Union. Snowball was good at public speaking, which persuaded lots of animals to support him, making him popular. He exaggerated the future of the Animal Farm of building a windmill and had a debate with Napoleon. He pointed out having a windmill could lead to high efficiency of work and more time to relax. Rather than canvassing, he was using strong arguments with plenty of examples to win the support of all other animals. Furthermore, Trotsky formed the red army resulted in defeat of the white army. Similarly, Snowball organized animals’ army, fighting against human beings and won the battle of cowshed. He showed a great understanding of strategies among all animals.
