"Racism"
Their is racism still in this world that everyday individual's face, but mainly blacks face this in their lives. Racism is something we need to end but we still see it every day in the news and articles like the one I've read. The article that had caught my eyes was written by James Queally and published by LA Times, " Counter- protestors charged with attacking KKK members during bloody Anaheim rally", the article was about how the KKK was doing a "peaceful" rally and it ended up getting out of control because of the disagreement the Counter protestors had. The KKK members were rallying against racism, police brutality, and other issues of concern that they believed needed to be heard, which had started out peaceful but ended up in bloody brawl. In Chapter 15, Page 584 "Give me Liberty" by Eric Foner, it says most parts of the South still saw lots of violence towards the blacks. Blacks were usually assaulted and murdered for using bad language, not giving up space to the whites, and for even trying to buy land. When the blacks protested they were either arrested or all murdered but as you can see when the KKK has rallies only a few got stabbed compared to the hundreds/thousands they killed. In the book it says the Klan was an terrorist organization that terrorized the South and they made sure the blacks did not protest or try to fight for their rights. Just like in the news article, the situation was turned around to the blacks making sure the KKK didn’t have to chance to protest. It seems like karma and racism is playing a huge role in both these situations because of all the things blacks endured, they are making sure they never have to go threw that again or the next generation of
