North Virginia Community College and George Mason University.

Virginia state has a great schools where students can get a perfect education which opens a big opportunities in the future. There are a lot of excellent schools but I would like to mention two of them : North Virginia Community College and George Mason University. These two schools are great for students who like to study hard and wish to get excellent knowledge. However NOVA and GMU are different from each other. A comparison between North Virginia Community College and George Mason University reveals three surprising differences. The first difference between North Virginia Community College and George Mason University is in admission. In North Virginia Community College students can submit the admission application for free. Each student can apply for North Virginia Community College if he or she are less then 18 years old but have parent’s permission and have General Educational Development Certificate. However in George Mason University students have to pay fee which is seventy five dollars and it is not refundable. George Mason University required to have Standardized Test Certificate and students can attend to school if they are over 18 years old. So, before to submit an application to any of these schools, every student should check an information about admission on school’s website because NOVA and GMU are required different documents. The second important difference between North Virginia Community College and George Mason University is in tuition. North Virginia Community College has affordable price: for residents students is one hundred thirty five dollars per credit and for out-of- state students is three hundred fifty dollars. Compare to North Virginia College, George Mason University is very expensive, tuition fee for instate students is six hundred seventy eight dollars per credit and for out-of –state students is one thousand two hundred forty two
