Choice where to live people need to do personally. If the people would have choice between Kiev and Toronto, they would be divided, because some people prefer the living standard in Kiev and the other in Toronto. People's choices can be affected by factors as: money movement, weather and crime. For some people money movement is the most important fact whether to live in the city or not. The Average monthly salary in Toronto is higher than in Kiev, it is 2241$ in comparison with the salary in Kiev 530$ so in that way people would prefer to live in Toronto. The tax rates are lower in Kiev its 13% according to 20% in Toronto. In Kiev the prices of the products are already included taxes according to not included in Toronto. The public transport in Kiev much cheaper than in Toronto. Monthly price for the public transport in Kiev is 11.3$ which is 150$ in Toronto. So for those people who are the most important fact is the money movement would prefer to live in Toronto, because even despite that the prices and taxes higher the salary is higher too, so money movement in Toronto is much higher than in Kiev. For some other people weather is more important aspect to decide about the home place. Everyone has their idea of good weather and bad, Kiev and Toronto do not have a big difference in weather. My primary reason for choosing the country instead of the city is the clean environment. The air smells fresh and clean, because there are less cars creating pollution. In the city, there are busses, taxis, and cars on all the streets contributing harmful chemicals into the air. While automobiles are not the only cause of pollution, there are also more factories and plants to pollute the air. In the country, the only major industry would be farming, which does not pollute the air in any way. There are more people in the city breathing the air and less forest area to help control the pollution. Since there are less people in the country than in the city, the amount of littering on the roads is also less. The polluted air is very harmful to the human body and that is why I will choose to raise my family in the country where there is less pollution. The clean environment is not the only reason that I will choose to live in the country.…

Shopping services are convenient and close, which offer anything a person could want or need. It is also a good place in case an emergency was to occur. Hospital, police stations and firefighters would be easy to get in touch with. The city life provides many advantages of a modern society, but it carries a heavy cost. For example the housing and food in the city are expensive. Another major advantage of city living is public transportation. Transportation is always there, but it gets expensive when you take a taxi to and from work every day. We have all heard of the term “downtown", which is all the entertainment in the city such as clubs, restaurants, and other major social events. In the city there are many more stressed people. All of these things take a huge toll on one's body over a period of years. Another huge problem in the city is the air is polluted. Some people prefer to live in a small town whilst others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would I prefer to live in? Living in big cities or small towns both have advantages and disadvantages to their location. People’s living preferences vary for many reasons such as age, profession and interests. Convenience is one of the most beneficial factors to living in a big city. Larger cities are more industrial and advanced and everything can be found with the least effort and time. Big cities also usually have better schools and universities than a small town. This gives people a better chance at a higher and more rounded education that can prepare them for the workplace, large cities have more opportunities specially when it comes to careers as you are more likely to find higher paying jobs so consequently live a more comfortable lifestyle. The big cities also offer a multicultural aspect compared to small towns, you will find people from all over the globe that have come to big cities and open restaurants and shops. Some people think big cities are full of facilities and opportunities and then there are other people that think it’s full of stressed and angry people who are always in a rush. A lot of young adults generally prefer to live in a big city as there is more to do, more shops, bars, restaurants, theatres and museums especially if they have grown up in a smaller town, after all, big cities never sleep. However, there are some values in a small town that are just as or even more important and more difficult to achieve in a big city such as nature and the warmth and comfort of humanity. The quality of life is easier and less expensive. If you want to live in one you must sacrifice the other, live in a calm and quiet and pollution free environment or the busy, entertaining and never sleeping city? I, personally, like living in a smaller town somewhere not too far from a larger city so I can have if and when I want the best of both worlds.…

It is a well-known fact that the world is becoming increasingly urbanized. In almost every country in the world the trend has been for more and more people to move from small towns to larger cities. Although there are certain aspects of living in small town that I would appreciate such as clean air and less noise, however the urbanizing trend pretty much reflects my own preference for living in a big city rather than in a small town, because in my opinion the place one lives in plays more important role in one’s life in terms of wider range of opportunities. I think the education and career opportunities are the most prominent among them. Living in a city and living in a small town have both advantages and disadvantages. It is believed that someone’s personality is influenced by the place where they live. Living in a city involves having a fast-paced life, while living in a small town usually slows things down and gives people a stronger sense of calm. Talking about where you prefer to live in, a big city or a small town, different people have different point of views. Although it is bit difficult to say that it is better to live in a big city than to live in a small town. While cities and small towns are extremely different, their inhabitants have to go through the same drill every day in order to be content: work, socialize and aim towards forming or maintaining a family.…
