Comparison Of Courage, Honesty, And Determination

“America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand” Harry Truman. Harry Truman was the 33rd president of this great country. This quote to me meant a lot of things, but what really stood out to me is courage, honesty, and determination. America has shown all of those things countless of times in the past, but I personally feel like those things are taking the backseat in our country today. My vision for America is bringing those three things back to the front line of our country, and install them deeper as morals, also things that we do everyday should show honesty, courage, and determination.

A lot of American's do show great courage every day like our veterans and our men and women overseas right now. They do show courage every day, so do our officers and firefighters here at home. Those people show huge amounts of courage every day, I am talking more about the average American, I know they show courage but they should show more when it comes to them being honest. I know honesty takes courage and if we showed more courage as America's I believe honesty would be less of an issue. In my opinion American's do show a lot of courage every day but I think we sometimes take that for granted. We should install this as a deeper moral and then I believe honesty would follow.
Lastly, American's and determination go hand in hand. This I believe that most Americans show every day. Although most Americans show this on a daily basis there is a small percentage of Americans that I believe don't show much determination at all. Most of these people are younger Americans like the kids and teens at school. I hope they shape up as they get through school. If they don't they will not succeed in life because you need determination to succeed in America
