It is called Memory or The Heart. It is a painting full of meaning, with her heart bleeding on the floor, and herself crying. A year after Frida learned of her husband’s affair, she moved back in with him. At that time, their relationship was a mess and their marriage was ruined. Although her marriage was falling apart, her career was the took an opposite turn. She was becoming so successful that a French poet talked about her work. At the time of her rising success, Frida pained a self -portrait called the Frame. She included her signature unibrow and facial hair in it. In 1939, Frida was known as a surrealist, so she took part in an exhibition filled with works of other surrealists. This particular exhibition was in Paris. She sold her The Frame to the louver museum. After finishing her work in Paris, she went back to Mexico and decided to live in the blue house. Things were not working out with her and Diego, so they got a divorce. Frida still loved Diego in the time they were getting a divorce, so she painted The Two Fridas to show her feelings. In the painting, it seems like she grew up mentally and the way she paints her necklace seems to be adding weight to her shoulders with this remarriage. In the 1940s, Frida became too ill to paint self- portraits because it included a lot of moving. She started painting things she sees like fruits, but she still added her deep meaning into the paintings. One painting she made is called Bride Frightened at seeing Life Opened. There are rumors that this painting is a self portrait in some way. This means that she might have painted it about her experiences without painting herself. From then on, she become more ill, and the injuries she suffered from the terrible accident caused her a lot of pain. She spent her time focusing on her paintings and pets.
