If you want to be a rally driver you will need the rite car. Rally cars have to meet very few specifications depending on the class of race. There are currently ten different race classes. However the most popular seems to be the open all wheel drive turbo class. Also all ten classes have one requirement in common: 2.0 engines. Both cars have the necessary two-liter engine that is required, and are both equipped with all wheel drive. …show more content…

Another disappointing fact is that they both have unimpressive zero to sixty mile per hour records. The EVO accelerates from a standstill to sixty miles per hour in five seconds and eight tenths of a second. While the Subaru dose it in five seconds and four tenths of a second. An other factor most think as important when deciding which car to purchase is price. The Lancer Evolution GSR will cost you 34,770 dollars (Compare the 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR vs. the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.). The price to pay for the Subaru Impreza WRX STi is 34,720 dollars (Compare the 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR vs. the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.). Making the Lancer Evolution GSR fifty dollars more expensive. This miniature difference in the price of the two vehicles dose not makes the choice any easier. It is obvious that their cannot be a long term ruler or champion in the rally car scene because the winner whether it be the STi or the EVO. The losing car will always hunt the champion the next year, and if they follow their usual pattern the loser will rise above the previous year’s winner. In conclusion both cars a relatively inexpensive they both can put much more expensive sports cars to shame on the street or on the track. In the end the best advice for making your decision is to go with your gut and take home the one that just feels

Someone could argue with a simple tire upgrade to the challenger it would improve its handling making just as fast in the figure eight or even faster than the Camaro. People could also argue that quarter mile times matter more because they might only care about how fast a car can accelerate from a stop. Someone could also argue that they like the feel of the extra horse power of the challenger over the Camaro. A person could argue that a challenger is a better daily driver because the seats and entire interior is bigger. If you are a bigger person, the challenger would provide way more room both width and length wise. Someone could argue that the price difference between the Camaro and Challenger is worth it because the Challenger has a larger engine with more horsepower and the car its self is bigger than the Camaro, so it is going to take more materials the make the…

There is a lot of controversy over the two cars; people who think the Stang (Mustang) is a better car, and people that think the Maro (Camaro) is a better car. First, the STi comes with a horizontally opposed, EJ20 engine that puts out an impressive 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. While on the other hand, the Evo comes with 271 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. So, right off the bat both cars are going to get you from point A to point B much a lot quicker. With all this power, the STi can do the ¼ mile in 13.1 seconds compared to the Evo’s 13.4. If one is into speed, that .3 of a second is a huge difference. For stock engines, those numbers are very impressive and will help whether at the track or driving on windy roads.…

First, when purchasing a vehicle a consumer should not only be concerned with the purchase price, but with the cost of repairs as well. The initial cost of gasoline powered cars is around 75% lower than a hybrid for these reasons: hybrids have very expensive batteries, a different engine design which complicates manufacturing, and they are basically mobile computers that make them difficult to repair without special training. Regardless of which type of vehicle you own, many people think that the initial cost of a vehicle is bad enough and then something bad happens. Repairs can cause your wallet to take another large hit. Simple moving parts are bad enough when a door handle breaks off, but what if one of the computer parts fails or your electrical system has a malfunction? This happens with both gasoline and hybrid cars, but repairing your hybrid means twice the amount of money. For example, the battery in a hybrid has a limited shelf life and when it does need to be replaced it can cost from $3,000 to $6,000, but you can buy a…

Ford and Chevy are as American as apple pie. However, as any car fanatic knows. They are as big of rivals as the North and the South used to be. Two rival models of Ford and Chevy, in particular, is the Ford Mustang Shelby GT and the Chevy ZL1 Camaro. The Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang are quintessential American pony cars and as such, continue to fight the war over which sport utility vehicle is the best in performance. I recently became interested in cars and the whole racing aspects of them because my best friend races once in a while. He is extremely knowledgeable and interested in cars and can tell which car is the best. Becoming a huge car fanatic like him, I have to “pick a side” and decide which car I would go with the Mustang or the Camaro. The two features that I would take in to consideration in deciding which car is better than the other one is the performance that it has to offer and the style that it resembles.…
