Write a report which explores how the current competitive and pricing strategies of Centre Parcs are a product of their external and competitive environment and to consider whether the strategies of Centre Parcs align with the expectations of responsible leadership that students have voiced.

Introduction
Throughout this semester we have been looking at the external and competitive enviroment of businesses. Looking at contemporary issues and aiming to tackiling real world problems. We have studied businesses challenges in this econiomic climate we have been aiming to understand the global citizenship. Previously looking at Poters 5 forces and scenario planning we have studied external factors that business must take notice of if they wish to remain operatitve and succesful.
The purpose of this report is to look at Centre parcs and its pricing strategies. In this report we willl look at them and see if they are coherant with the anticipations of the student.
Business Strategy
Center Parcs are a business consisting of four holiday resorts Whinfell Forest in Cumbria, Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Elveden Forest in Suffolk, and Longleat Forest in Wiltshire (Center Parcs, 2011). They are the leading operators of short holidays in the woods and sea (Caterer and Hotelkeepers, 2006) and since 2006 have been to “developing further the four existing villages through building new executive villas, upgrading villas and enhancing restaurant and central facilities.” (Caterer and Hotelkeepers, 2006). In comparison to 2011 Center Parcs aim to accomplish to build a further 3 tree houses at Longleat Forest that should be open by Christmas 2011 and looking further aspire to build a “new Village at Woburn Forest in the second half of 2013” (Center Parcs, 2011).
