Complain About a Factory
I'm Faith bin Mohd Jasmi, The Honorary Secretary,of Village Residents' Committee Bukit Aman Sentosa urge to all residents of the park to jointly protest against the construction of Linex factory that is being planned by an international company based on the billboard project numbered PP / SRKJ92-08/34.This objection is based on the motion proposed by a committee member of the resident that was held on January 15 2012.The proposed was unanimously supported by all members of the committee who came for the meeting.I have some reasons for not agree this project.
First, the construction will cause the air pollution, The black smoke which is coming out of the factory could trapped in the air space. The main effects of air pollution to human is respiration process. Carbon monoxide will poison the oxygen transport system in the blood and effect the human reaction. This will cause people feel sleepy, asthma and reduce the lung function, The contaminated gas such as nitrogen oxide can cause pulmonary edema and hemorrhage.Furthemore the ozone gas can cause irritation and can cause inflammation of the lungs and the inability to move. Dust, fumes, mists, vapors or other substances also prevent people’s eye.World Health Organization (WHO) research said that 3.3 million people die each year due to air pollution. Thus is three times higher than the number of deaths caused by the accidents on the road. It shows that the construction of the plant made by the companies are not suitable as it can affect the entire resident at this area.
In addition, the construction of this plant can also cause the water pollution, the the dumping of toxic could poison to the drainage system.The removal of chemicals by the project can cause the water pollution . The water which is contaminated will disrupt the aquatic life such as fish, shellfish The fishermen could lost their income when the big number of the fish die. Besides that, if the fishes are caught and eaten by humans. The sea
