After reading Broccoli by Anne Lamott, Composting and Baking a Cake by Natalie Goldberg, there were some meaningful advice and enlightening points that I was able to take away. In Broccoli by Lamott, an advice that she gave was, “you need to trust yourself, especially on a first draft,” (Lamott 112).
