Simple sentence:Contains a subject a predicate,and expresses a complete thought

Compound sentences:Contains two independent clauses joined by a cordinating conjunction
Ex.I tried to speak spanish,and my friend tried to speak english

Complex Sentence:Has an independent clause joined by a dependent clause/subordinating clause.

Compound Complex sentences:has atleast two dependent clauses ,and one or more dependent clauses
