Install a hard drive

Place the hard drive into a case to make sure to fits into the dock bay then screw the hard into the case. After that place the case into the dock bay and screw down so it fall out. Then place the SATA or IDE cable into the hard drive and then plug the other end into the motherboard

Install a graphics card

Place the graphics card in PCI express graphics card slot and screw it down, if some graphics card require a power supply the place it at the back of the graphics card

Install a floppy drive

Place the floppy disk drive at the front of the case and make sure that the button is at the bottom, then place the power supply and the IDE cable at the back and then screw down

Install a CD/DVD drive

Place the CD drive at the front of the case and make sure that the button is at the bottom, then place the power supply and the IDE or SATA cable at the back and then screw down

Install RAM chips (DDR or SDRAM)

Gentle hold the ram by both sides then place it into the ram slot make sure it is the right way round are else it won’t fit, then push it down into the slot so it clips in.

Connect and set-up: equipment eg monitor, Graphics, card keyboard, mouse.

Place the keyboard and mouse into the USB slot then put the display cable into the VGA slot and screw it in so it down fall out and place the PSU cable into the power supply port
