Introduction
Bago City Collage is locally funded government institution fully subsidized by the City Government of Bago. The Institution was established in 1980 and through the years catered the education of a thousand students not only from Bago City but from neighboring communities and even from other provinces. It cannot be denied that with the advent of technology, school relies on the use of computers to meet the growing up needs of the academy. In its effort to upgrade the enrollment process and to solve some observe problem as long quizzes, economic burdens, etc. Bago City College launched the computerization of the enrollment process for Academic Year 2013-2014 which was implemented by enrollees for incoming First Year Students and Transferees. The manual system was retained for the upper classmen. This study will try to find out the effectiveness of the computerized enrollment system and make a comparison with manual system taking into consideration selected variables.
Statement of the Problem This study will find out the effectiveness of the computerized enrollment system of ago city College Academic year 2013-2014. Furthermore a comparison with the manual system will be delivered into. Specifically this study will answer the following: 1. What is the effectiveness of the computerized system when participants are grouped into the following profile variables: a. Course b. Sex c. Residence 2. What is the extent of the effectiveness of the manual system when participants were grouped into: a. Course b. Sex c. Residence 3. What is the extent of the computerized enrollment as the following: a. Time spent b. Expenses incurred c. Ease of enrollment 4. What s the extent of effectiveness enrollment using manual system as to the following: a. Time spent b. Expenses incurred c. Ease of enrollment 5.
