▪ The Government retains title to the GFP until it is properly disposed of as authorized by law and regulation. Government-Furnished Property Defined
▪ GFP is property in the possession of, or directly acquired by, the
Government and subsequently furnished to the contractor for performance of a contract.
Government-furnished property includes, but is not limited to, spares and property furnished for repair, maintenance, overhaul, or modification. Government-furnished property also includes contractoracquired property if the contractoracquired property is a deliverable under a cost contract when accepted by the Government for continued use under the contract.”(FAR 45.101)

NATHO was founded in 2008 to support in the ethical business practices in the travel health care organization. NATHO has a written a code of ethics that covers the relationship between clients and physician providers. This code of ethics is available to all NATHO members. If at any time there needed to be a complaint resolved then it would be filed with the NATHO Ethics Committee. NATHO, also has a written statement available of the Standards of Practice, this includes the performance issues. NATHO wants to assure the public that they apply the highest standards in the industry. The contract should state clearly all the conditions of possible fees, and the terms of payment before submitting without clients consent. In ethical terms of this process NATHO values every client. Another responsibility from NATHO would be for a member to receive permission from a candidate for a specific assignment, and once the candidate approves then the member is to get permission from the client. The ethical rules that fall into place for this standard is that a member should maintain the confidence of the client on all business matters, unless it is directed by the client to reveal their information. Also, a member should not make false statements to a client, candidate, or another member of the organization.
