OUR WORK IS NEVER SO URGENT OR IMPORTANT
THAT WE CANNOT TAKE TIME TO DO IT SAFELY.
A WORD FROM CRAIG…
The WNS group is striving for total integration to deliver the WNS project portfolio. The leadership team met to work out a project philosophy document. This document defines success for the team and the type of working relationships we expect. The WNS Project Philosophy is included at the end of this Newsletter. Please take time to review it. We will hold each other accountable and strive to meet the intent. One of our Planning/Execution strategies is to have a fully integrated WNS schedule. I am happy to report all the WNS schedules are in one database. We are still working some of the connectivity issues at a very high priority.
Safety is at the very core of our values. Warren Dobson the Operations Supervisor really hits home in the following article about personal values. I would ask you to read the article and think about it. Where are you on values when it comes to safety?

IS SAFETY A PRIORITY OR A VALUE AT ALPINE?
Company and contract Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services personnel at Alpine have recently attended a number of Safety Leadership Workshops in Anchorage and on the Slope. One very important concept that has been discussed at each of these sessions is whether we consider safety a priority or hold safety as a value at Alpine.
When you first think about this, we tend to use the terms almost interchangeably - there really doesn’t appear to be any difference between the two words. We frequently hear in safety meetings that safety is a priority – we have all said it at one time
