Consensuasive Speech: The Murder Of 19-Year-Old Woman
In these days you can expect the unexpected. Just like this 18-year-old young old, Dakota Brothers, stabbed & attempted to murder his 19-year-old pregnant girlfriend. The 19-year-old woman was stabbed several times & had the baby through C-section, the knife was found; also including several different other types of evidence from the scene. All this was done the near the woods of Albert Einstein High School, in Wheaton Maryland right after the couple have consensual sex. This is important to me because I have the right to know what's going on in this generation & what's being done about it. This connects to my class because this is going to impact the community & laws are being broken. I think that this is absurd thing that has come to pass,

In the early afternoon of December 26, 1996, John Ramsey found JonBenet lying dead in the basement strangled by a nylon cord and a garrote that was made from Patsy’s paint brush, wrists tied above her head, with a strip of duct tape over her mouth. Earlier that night, Burke and Jonbenet Ramsey were eating their favorite snack, pineapple and yogurt. Quarreling over Jonbenet stealing a piece of his late night treat, nine-year-old Burke took it out of hand and threw a flashlight at her head. The blow to the head knocked her unconscious, making him believe she was dead. Panicking, Burke called out to his parents to reveal what he had done. Stunned at the sight of their comatose daughter, Patsy and John chose to protect their family by making the…

On June 25, 2012, the Supreme Court had ruled that juveniles who committed a crime such as murder, could not be sentenced to life in prison because it is violating the Eighth Amendment's ban on cruel and unusual punishment. In the supreme court decision, I agree that it is harsh and should not be allowed for a minor to serve life in prison, even if murder is committed. The decision is agreeable due to the severe punishment on someone young whose life is ruined over the decision they made. The information on a minor is misleading it masks a juvenile as a brutal killer is society's eyes. These statements should be brought to the people who are disagreeing with the court decision, and prove that these minors do not deserve an adult sentence with life in prison.…

Today I am pitching the latest movie that I have written so that I may convince you that it will be a box office success. My latest film is titled Kill Bill and it is a combination of the martial arts, thriller, and action genres. The film follows a female protagonist, simply known as the Bride, who has been put in to a coma on the day of her wedding by a group of assassins whom she used to belong to and the leader of which, a man named Bill, she was formerly romantically involved with. Four years later, the protagonist awakes from her coma and embarks on a journey of revenge, in which she targets each of the assassins who attempted to kill her. The film explores the backstory behind the main character and the group of assassins she formerly belonged too.…

The murder mystery of Jonbenet may be one of the craziest unsolved murder mysteries in the world. The police don’t have enough evidence to prosecute the person that they think might have committed the murder. The cold case of JonBenet’s murder is still talked about among many people not only because the case is still unsolved but also because of her participation in child beauty pageants. In my essay I will discuss some background information on the case, The evidence, and what I think the evidence leads to.…

In an article written by Diane Dew, titled The Trouble Teens Face, It was stated that in recent years the media has been flooded with articles about the problems teens face. These problems range from drugs and violence, to pregnancy and abortion. I want discuss abortion because it is such an important issue for my generation. Since the 19th century English common law forbade abortion. Abortion prior to quickening was a misdemeanor and then a felony. In 1967 the first two states to make abortion legal was Colorado and California. By June 1970 New York passed its first abortion on demand law with a 24 week limit. It was the 16th state to allow abortion when the other states were still very restrictive. They only allowed abortions for pregnancies involving rape, incest, life of the mother or fetal handicap.…

Wouldn’t it be scary if someone decided that you should disappear because he thinks you do not have the right to live because of your race or religion? Well yes, it would be scary and possible. This sort of an act is known as genocide. A typical definition of genocide is the intension to eliminate, murder certain group of people because of their race, beliefs or even political and economic status. Throughout the decades, genocide has occurred in more than one occasion, causing wars, slaughters and destruction of cities and towns even though every time when one genocide is taking place we promise that it will not happen again but still it does. I personally think that genocide is by far the most horrible crime in humanity, where hatred, superiority and personal memories are so greater that mankind is forced to commit these crimes and do not even feel regret for what they have done.…

We the kids around the world are not thrilled with the way our society behaves. We hate to turn on the news and see the way our youth act towards each other like who really wants to live in a world where this goes on every single day. The biggest problem that we have in society is school shootings. We bully each other until it gets to the point where we can't take the bullying no more and start handling the situation ourselves and we will never know when it's going to happen until it happens. And people wonder why does this happen to our youth well it's because no one like to stick up for the person that's getting bullied they just let it happen like what I heard today at lunch where a student was getting bullied by everyone in his second period…

My sophomore year was the hardest for my friends and me because we were suffering from racial trauma, which affects us mentally and emotionally. 2015 seemed to be an apex for black men and women dying at the hands of a police. When we were just starting to grieve over the death of Michael Brown, another report came out that a young mentally ill man named Matthew Ajibade was tasered in the groin area while being restrained in a chair by police officers. This inhumane action was a breaking point causing my peers to lose appreciation for the melanin in their skin because they believe it would lead to their death. As more videos came out, youth around me began to question whether they truly had rights or if it safer to give up their rights in order…

Imagine your closest friend or loved one committing a crime, begging for a second chance to repent with sincere intentions to reform themselves, then slaughtered like an animal, never to speak, love, or laugh ever again. The Death Penalty enforces these types of executions, and many people desire for it to remain in practice. Even though some say there is no reason to keep a murderer alive, capital punishment should be abolished because it is high in expenses and killing a killer is a fallacy of our nation.…
