6.1 Summary
Silver nanoparticles are nanoparticles of silver composed of a large percentage of silver oxide due to their large ratio of surface to bulk silver atoms. Various shapes and sizes of nanoparticles are synthesized by physical, chemical and biological methods. The Chrysophyllum canito leaf extracts were used for silver nanoparticles synthesis. In this study utterly revealed the best milli molar concentrations of silver nanoparticles synthesis in diverse solvents such as aqueous, ethanol, methanol, chloroform and petroleum ether, but the excellent silver synthesized solvents only chosen for further more characterization studies.
The aqueous and ethanol solvents sample and chemically synthesized oxalic acid silver synthesis got excellent wavelength in ultra-visible spectroscopy hence the Chrysophyllum canito leaf extracts silver synthesized sample had given for scanning electron microscope to find out the approximate size of synthesized silver nanoparticles, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy is an analytical instrument to identify the present of element in synthesized silver nanoparticles sample silver weight, atomic number and other element iterations identified and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy found the crystallite size …show more content…
The three types of synthesized silver nanoparticles were used against klebsiella pneumonia microorganism silver synthesized in aqueous had best antibacterial activity, oxalic acid used silver synthesis got good antibacterial activity. Eventually the ethanol silver synthesis got good antibacterial activity. antibacterial activity results utterly correlated to energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and its relevance to silver synthesized quantity or
