Constitution and change
Ramadan was a pretty blessed month for me. Ramadan is

my favorite time of the year ofcourse after Eid. Ramadan

unites all the muslims in the community and brings them

together. Like in ramadan, I went to the masjid for

tarawih almost every day and I would see all my friends

there. I would feel so loved. If I got upset in Ramadan, I

would go to the Masjid because seeing the masjid full in

Ramadan cheered me up. Seeing everyone praying salah

making duas, worshipping Allah ( s.w.t ) made me feel

amazing. I would be so proud to be a muslim then.

Because Islam is seriously the best religion ever .

It's a beautiful thing and its peaceful and it welcomes

anyone to it. The masjid i use to go to in ramadan was

Hamza Masjid and there would be scholars and speakers

come in and give in their speeches that would really help

the muslims in my community get better. Everything about

Ramadan is probably the best month out of the whole

year because you get to earn Allah's blessings and favors

and alot of your duas get accepted. Everytime I would

go to the masjid, I would see people praying and crying

because they got so emotional over the thought and

word ALLAH. He is the most merciful and beneficial

and He helped me alot during ramadan . I prayed all month

that my dad would come back from Pakistan and literally

by the end of ramadan and right before eid, My dad

surprised me.. I was so happy that I finally got to see my

daddy. My favorite part about ramadan was the iftar

parties and always seeing my friends. The iftar parties

cheered me up and made me so happy becuase of the food

I would get there. I also really didn't find it that hard to

fast this year. Allah made it really easy for me and I also

donated in Masjids for the poor people who basically have

to starve and fast everyday and people who dont get food .

I love when my family comes over and we a

Rozin and Rozin ("Culinary Themes and Variations") touched on the importance of flavor principles and how different flavoring combinations are used to create food flavors distinct to their culture, uniting those of that culture to others of that culture and the culture's traditions. For those that follow Islam, Ramadan is an important part of the year, with food of heavy importance during this time. Cultural fasting is important in Ramadan, where eating traditional foods, using traditional cooking methods, sharing food with others, eating in excessive consumption, and eating the same soup to break their fast symbolizes that all those worshiping Islam celebrating Ramadan are all one people, no matter where they live (Buitelaar "Living Ramadan:…

America is one of the most developed countries in the world and a huge reason is because of the United States government. The agreement under which the government had been operating since 1781 was the Articles of Confederation, but it was replaced by the Constitution in 1789. This change was required due to the need for a stronger Federal Government. It is astonishing that the Constitution, which was created by a group of brilliant leaders still prevails to this day and serves the purpose of running the government. These men created a government from scratch, but many people were not convinced as to how long this new government would last. However, over the years it has been proven that the Constitution has been able to adapt and provide the…

The Constitution has many amendments that do not apply to today’s society. This document is known as a living document, named that because it was meant to be able to change every thirty or so years to keep along with the times. Many people think that the Constitution should never be changed because of its importance to the history of our country, but, Thomas Jefferson thought otherwise in 3 letters that he wrote to Maddison addressing the matter. From September of 1787 to today, America along with the rest of the world has made many advancements.…

Clad in their long robe, he heads to the mosque where he says his morning prayers. Thereafter, he heads to his office at the mosque where he sits and awaits to solve disputes that arise from his congregation with an array of the endless questions to come. To his congregants, the Imam serves far more than their leader of the daily prayers and giver of the Friday sermon. With many of these Islam immigrants living in a land far away without their families, Andrea (2006) points out that the Imam serves a far much greater role in the lives of his congregants other than their leader of the daily prayers and giver of the Friday sermon. He assists in finding spouses, he resolves personal disputes and issues ruling on ethical questions (para. 6), acts as an Islamic judge, a matchmaker, a nursery school principal, marriage counselor and, a 24-hour hot line on all Islamic issues (para.…

Sawm is the fourth pillar of Islam and is an important act of ibadah. The word "Ramadan" comes from the Arabic root word for "parched thirst" and "sun-baked ground." It is expressive of the hunger and thirst felt by those who spend the month in fasting. By tradition the month starts with the sighting of the new moon by at least two Muslims.
