Leadership plays an significant role in the workplace. Core leadership theories are fall into four main categories Trait Leadership, Behavioral Leadership, Power and Influence Leadership, and Contingency Leadership (“How Leadership Theory Can Work For You,” n.d.). These theories clarify the specific element of an effective leader that are helpful when leading others.
