MATURATION VERSUS EXPERIENCE
DEVELOPMENT

MATURATION  the emergence of personal and behavioral characteristics through growth process.
EXPERIENCE  knowledge of or skill of something or some event gained through involvement in or exposure to that thing or event.

One of the developmental issues is between the maturation and experience.
Many of us are having conflict in thinking about what is the most efficient for development.
In my own opinion, first I want to explain why I think experienced was leading us for a good development and of course the other side, why I think being matured are not efficient for development.
Experience…
They said that experiences are the best teacher. As times goes by there are lots of problems in life that we encountered with by a certain person, through it we learned to make solutions in order to solve such. By that kind of experience when the same problems occur to another person you know the best solution for it. And you may learn to analyze step by step in order to do so. Through our experience, we may say that we matured. As we encountered new challenges in life and we overcome those challenges, we may say that we became stronger enough and able to solve much difficult problems because of what we experienced in the past.
Maturation…
As a matured person, we are open for a development in our all aspects. But for us to be matured, we also need some experiences. As we are in the stage or process on developing our maturity, we learn how to change for the better and we only notice what are the things we need to develop because we experienced it. As we grow older, we also realize that there is something on us that we need to develop for the best.

If you are fully developed in all

“Good people... are good because they’ve come to wisdom through failure”. This quote from William Saroyan means that wise people acquire their insight from experiences, especially unsuccessful ones. I agree with the quote and the idea of people being knowledgeable because of the hardships and journeys they had endured. The two novels Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston and The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger both support the idea of gaining wisdom through experience.…

“Maturity begins to grow when you can sense your concern for others outweighing your concern for yourself,” by John MacNaughton. This quote means that when you start putting other first as your main priority then your maturity is growing. There are examples that pertain to this quote that are seen throughout a person’s life. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a novel by Mark Twain, is not a Bildungsroman because Huck goes through three different phases of maturity but in the long run he ends up where he started off.…

Development is the process of gaining new skills in all areas of life. All children are individuals so, although they will all go through the same stages of development, they may not necessarily go through these at the same time. For this reason, the term ‘average child’ is used when talking about the process of development, but we should consider each child’s development progress individually.…

Now, Growing up is the process where a human being steadily begins to lose their inner child.
