Control Belief Analysis

In the book “Humanity & Sin”, control beliefs are defined as convictions about the sorts of theories we find acceptable. The author then went on in chapter 2 to disclose some of his control beliefs. I like the author, am a theist. Now I could do the off the wall thing that I was thinking about doing at the beginning of this assignment like describing my control beliefs on a variety of things. My “control beliefs” of the decade of the sixties and how it ruined America, how man never landed on the moon, how the NFL is rigged, who shot JFK, and heck even who shot Tupac and Biggie; however as I took a closer look at the author’s description of control beliefs, I stated to get the impression that my first thought was totally off. So I tried again, this time on more serious topics than my previous. This series of concentration led me to my control belief regarding marriage. Now personally I believe marriage should be a union that is only between man and woman. I believe that marriage between said male and female, as ordained by the Most High God, is essential for the procreation of mankind. There is evidence of this fact in the Bible where in Genesis Chapter 1 in verses 27 and 28 that “God created
As a Christian, I believe that salvation is a free gift of God the Father that is received by man through their personal faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for the sin of the world. I believe the Bible when it states that “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. I believe that man is justified by grace thorugh faith and not of works. AS staed by the Apostle Paul in the Book of Romans Chapter 4 verse 5 “To him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”. I lastly believe that all true believers, once saved, are kept secure in Jesus Christ
