The first time Satan is mentioned in the Bible is in the Garden of Eden. In Hebrew, the word Satan means “the accuser.” But where and how did the story of Satan develop? The book of Isaiah in the fourteenth chapter, verses 12-17 tells us what happened. What happened was that God created Lucifer, perfect and like God. He gave Lucifer a new name; Satan and the other angels were given the name demons. This was called the Fall of the angels. In Hell, Satan lived, growing in power and getting ready to lead another rebellion against God. He is the most ungrateful creature in the universe. But the outcome is secure. God will destroy Satan once and for all. But how does Satan act around humans? He targets believers, not unbelievers because he knows that the unbelievers are already going to be going to hell, so he needs to target Christians. Let's look at a well-known story. The story of Job is a story The talks about a man's struggle with Satan destroys his life by taking everything away from him. When all the Angels Came to present themselves to God Satan was present Satan said that he'd been roaming the Earth and what that means is that he had gone back and forth is he had gone back and forth trying to tempt people. So God mentions Job and Satan said that if evil were to
