Cornelius Vanderbilt Throughout these paragraphs you will be reading about Cornelius Vanderbilt one of the most competitive man . He started as a poor kid and he started working at a young age to support his family through these paragraphs you will read what happened to him as a child and as an adult and you learn about the business he will have and what a good man he is in business. Cornelius Vanderbilt was one of the most riches men in his times . He had even put a barracked on the bridge. He had the world largest shipping empire in the country but then Cornelius thought that all the money would be going to trains so he sold all his ships and bought railroad and he was getting lots of money . But the commander wanted more he wanted to take control of all the railroads business and his oldest son the one that was going it inherited the business died in the war and people did not take the commodore seriously for his age so he called his other son he was the youngest one but they did not take him serious.
