“What you don't necessarily realize when you start selling your time by the hour is that what you're really selling is your life.” This short quote is very eye opening as it makes you question if it is true. It almost forces you to look at your life and ask if getting a job, or maybe a job that you already have, is a waste of time. The “selling your life” part of the quotation tells us that by working, you will get paid. This is equal to saying that you’re giving yourself and your time for money and goods. Just as the saying goes, time is money. The American Dream is a way of life that explains that hard work will always lead to good life and fortune. What people call the American Dream is just a motivation for people to work harder. Hard work leads to life challenges and you have to prove yourself in each of these set challenges to find success. Anyone can work hard with the right mindset and motivation, but not everyone views success the same way. Success to one might be far harder to obtain then what success is to someone else.
