The subject course is designed to provide individuals responsible for preparing/typing correspondence with the knowledge of the various methods of correspondence available to them and the circumstances that govern the use of each. 2. Scope. Emphasis is placed on format for each method of correspondence. Also covered is the establishment of correspondence files and filing procedures. 3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional purposes only. This course is designed for use by all Marines. 4. Recommendations. Comments and recommendations on the contents of the course are invited and will aid in subsequent course revisions. Please complete the course evaluation questionnaire at the end of the final examination. Return the questionnaire and the examination booklet to your proctor.
