Corrution the cancer of Indian society
The problem in our country is not the lack of knowledge or understanding about corrupt practices but the lack of courage to stand against such practices. It is very easy to target others including politicians but what about common man?

WE HAVE to understand that the system is corrupt because we are also corrupt. First, we have to change ourselves then only we can expect change in others. This is a very old method to point the fingers towards the wrongdoing of others. But no one is ready to check their own character. I am really questioning the validity of self-professed right people. Before pointing fingers towards others, including politicians and other government employees, we should introspect ourselves. I am seeing that everybody is ready to abuse the system but what about ourselves. Are we common people really different from those who are in politics and other sphere of life and running this country?
No, that is the truth. We are no more different from those whom we are abusing continuously on different forum including media. We are ready to talk about corruption till the time we want to abuse politics. For me doing anything wrong is also a type of corruption and most of us in some way or other are involved in corrupt practices. It is quite possible that most readers will not agree with me on this because they are also in the same boat.

Let us see whatever what I am saying is correct or not. We are ready to pay money in the form of bribe to get connections of different types such as gas, water, and electricity - all out of turn. There may be others in the society who are not able to pay such bribes to get such connections out of turn and even some time they have to wait for longer period of time just because of people like us so called middle class who want corruption to be eradicated from society.

There are others in the middle class - especially small time businessmen like shopkeepers of different types, - and they may be earning more than what

In today's society, many people complain about all the political corruption that occurs in government, but none are willing to step up and take on this opposing evil. If one would look at the United States' voter turnout in comparison with other nations, one would notice that the turnout is extremely low. This is a great example of how good men doing nothing allows the evil to triumph. If all of those people…

It is a task for each and every one of us. Every time we turn our heads the other way when we see the law flouted; when we tolerate what we know to be wrong; when we close our eyes and ears to the corrupt because we are too busy, or too frightened; when we fail to speak up and speak out – we strike a blow against freedom and decency and…

Corruption is lurking around the corner, waiting for the perfect time to pounce on innocent people. Abuse of power is everywhere, like cockroaches hiding under your couch, once you see one you know they’re everywhere. Watch out, keep your wits about you and don’t trust anybody. Many superior people are taking advantage of their role and in a bad way. Do you really want people we should be able to trust being corrupt behind our backs? The book Trash by Andy Mulligan outlines the problems people face dealing with corruption and abuse of power. It includes various examples of inequality, immoral behaviour and abuse of power. Sadly this wretched behaviour is often found in many countries, and many people face it on a daily basis. Who knew somebody could learn so much from a fictional novel.…

    Corruption in India

The answer is very simple to tell but is extremely complecated to understand. Technically corruption is any kind of act in self interset to use public services illegally. Now there are several situations when we don't follow the law but that is not corruption if it is in public interset. Like if you give five extra minute to a sick student in exam then it is against rule but is not a kind of corruption but if you give four extra minutes for rupees then it is a kind of corruption. It is the simplest example to distinguish corruption and humanity. The corruption is not always visible but is always observable. It means one can observe every kind of corruption but corruption is not always visible. For example, if a sub division officer is not taking any action against his junior for the offence of corruption then it is a kind of invisible corruption but is still observable. Now it comes to cause of corruption. Who is the real cause of the corruption ? We can't give the whole credit to the system. We are equally responsible for the same thing. No doubt the system don't let us allow to change itself but remember we can change it slowly. Lets ask one question to your mind. Why should I loose my chance to get something illegally which others are getting ? For example, there is a job opportunity and someone equally qualified as you are is trying jack, then should you use a jack ? This question has every answer. It is not illegal or is not morally wrong. It completely depends upon you. We know corruption is a way of living for everyone nowadays. But the main question is who is responsible ? Now I think you understand, we the people are responsible, not the system. Now you will ask that how one can change the system ? I am not expecting a change in the system from you but just try to change yourself a bit. Just a bit not completely. Just try to change small things and see large things will be…

When people are open to talk about it, report any corrupt acts to the authorities. In some instances the anti-corruption watch must be used to the maximum. The anti-corruption units if they can be effectively utilised and its findings be followed on, and if there is anything reported it must be taken seriously and the perpetrators must be arrested and dealt with and at least be punished heavily so that this act of corruption people will know that this should not be done. The audit must be continuously done on the government fiscals because it starts up there from the president up to the least official in all the departments and everywhere in the society so that people live according to the moral standards.…
