Cheerleading is a bit insane let’s just be honest about the whole situation. It is even more insane when it is competitive cheer. It is different than high school in the sense that we do not cheer for a sport. There is a lot going on when getting ready, girls are applying a hefty amount of lipstick, it borders on looking like we are a bunch of clowns. Next is the eye makeup, well lets just say it should not be seen anywhere where there is shining, and people like to call it “stage makeup”. Let me just quickly touch on the amount of foundation that is applied to my face. With all the makeup used whether I’m on stage or up close no one would have any idea I am covered in freckles. Allow me to finish my little tyrant by mentioning the hair. Well, if you cannot tell already, in cheer the bigger the better and the same goes for the hair. We curl our hair, as if we are trying to imitate Shirley Temple. It is a blast. If my sarcasm is not apparent, I’ll just say I do not enjoy it. To say the least, getting ready for a cheer competition is not my favorite thing to do. However, there is one thing we all hold very sacred, one thing we will never complain about. It is something so simple that people may over look it, but the secret behind keeping this outrageous outfit together happens to be the one and only, hairspray.…

If you have ever stepped inside of a Sephora or an Ulta store it is like a little piece of heaven, for makeup fanatics like me. The makeup industry has grown tremendously over the years. There is a considerable amount of competition between the types of brands and quality of a product. There is a line in which products are the best and in which are not. It is usually between drugstore makeup and department, or what we typically call “high-end” makeup. High-end makeup is slightly better than the other. When comparing the two, it comes down to ingredients, quality and pigmentation, and prices.…

L’Oréal cosmetics is now the world’s largest toiletries and cosmetics group, with a presence in over 140 different countries. In the UK, the 45 000 square metre purpose-built facility in mid-Wales produces 1300 product types in a spotlessly clean environment, which is akin to a pharmaceutical plant in terms of hygiene, safety and quality. The plant has 55 production lines and 45 different production processes, and the manufacturing systems employed are of a flexibility that allows them to run each of the 1300 product types every two months – that means over 150 different products each week. But the plant was not always as flexible as this. It has been forced to enhance its flexibility by the requirement to ship over 80 million items each year. The sheer logistics involved in purchasing, producing, storing and distributing the volume and variety of goods has led to its current focus on introducing JIT principles into the manufacturing process.…

My name is___________. I am writing to express my interest in applying for a Master’s Degree in the The European Fragrance and Cosmetic Master Programs of the Group ISIPCA for the year 2011/13. What led me to apply for your position is that I have been planning a career in cosmetology industry for several years. In my eyes, cosmetic and perfume products are the best combination between art and science. My long time fascination with perfume and cosmetic is reflected in my participation starting when I was a little girl. I can remember myself staring at my mom wearing the make up every morning and spraying herself with some liquid substances in beautiful bottles and then she incredibly smelled so good just like she was using the magic. Now, I am a young woman, my interest still remains in the cosmetic and perfumery field, but focus more on an inside knowledge from a scientific and technical point of view, and the strategic and managerial aspects of business and marketing of the perfumery and cosmetic sector. For the above reasons, even before I graduated I started research for a Master’s program that would allow me to become specialized and get an in-depth insight into and knowledge of every aspect of cosmetic and perfumery business functions. During my search for the Master’s program that suits my interests, your program came to my attention. The excellent instructors and the unique lessons is one of the main reasons I was fascinated with the program along with the accreditation it received. Additionally the international background of a large proportion of students creates a blend of many different cultures and ideas…
