Since there are different societies on the globe with different values and beliefs, religions have to accommodate to those differences.
3. Choosing a specific teleological ethical theory, like decision making depends on the situation. Utilitarianism and egoism have their strengths but also their own shortcoming. Egoism is one of the theories that would forever be around because there is no true altruism in the world and everything is done with a personal self-interest. Between the two, utilitarianism is more practical since certain situations involve more than one person. This is because you are deciding what best for everyone that is involved instead of yourself.
