The Empire State Building is an amazing high building in New York City, United States. It is said to be a landmark Art Deco skyscraper. I’m not saying this by nothing. My topic is the cost of it. The amount of cost, the progress of cost and also the way of cost all show that the Empire State Building is a legend. First of all I think it’s necessary to introduce this building. It is at intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Its height is 1,250 ft., it approximately equals to 381 meters. It is a great building as it used to be the world’s highest building and keeps this record for 40 years. The project of building started in 1930 and finished in 1931. Its name comes from the nickname of America---Empire State. American Society of Civil Engineers also named it Seven Wonders of Modern World. The whole building includes its street floor interior are designated landmarks of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and it is confirmed by the New York City Board of Estimate. According to the AIA it was ranked number one on the List of America’s Favorite Architecture. W&H properties managed and owned it.
