Is it because that person hate money so much since it’s a burden to his or her life? Or, maybe what that individual means is all the money that he or she make are all “burn” to drugs. “Everything that drowns me makes me wanna fly. Everything that kills me, makes me feel alive” These last lines of the chorus keep repeating in the song to emphasize the author’s scheme of the whole song.
