City life is living in a city or in the country comes with a wide variety of differences. Living in the country and living in the city has its pros and cons depending on what type of lifestyle someone desires to live in.
The three more important aspects I’m going to be talking about are school, different types of jobs, and the environment. Schools in the country setting are not over crowed, the students are able to have more time with teachers. There is also a school setting at home, with learning to farm, while also taking care of the crops and animals on the farm. The job market in the country is smaller than the city. In the country most people have farms; they have to find ways to make money for the family while keeping the farm going strong. Many of the jobs deal with the seasons in the year. One of the biggest job source is taking care of the crops, also taking care of the livestock, along with all the other animals on the farms. Even with these jobs the pay was not much, due to the cost of living is less than living in the city. While working in the country the family is also working together as one.

There are many distinct characteristics that allow us to easily differentiate between rural and urban areas. Urban areas have a high (concentrated) density because it contains high amounts of people in small areas, and vice versa for rural areas. With this information, it can easily be inferred that urban areas create greater noise, but with greater job opportunities as well as using more resources. Therefore the prices rise and there is a greater chance that supply can’t compensate for demand, which then leads to things such as poverty. Urban areas also contain incredibly large amounts of human-created structures and there are a lot of different means of transportation to get around. These things help to develop problems such as health hazards, one example being smog which is a big problem in high-dense cities. With all the people, there are greater birth rates, death rates, and crime rates. Not everything is bad though, such as commercial areas being close to residential areas and easy access to needs such as healthcare and food. Driving or owning a car is not mandatory if everything around you is close, which is the case for some people. For myself, I can say that I am almost in this situation, because my parents don’t drive to work, but we need cars for other activities. On the other hand, rural areas are basically the exact opposite of urban areas and also have their ups and downs.…

There are many job opportunities in the city that you do not see in the countryside. The job market on the countryside is smaller than in the city due to less business, plants, and factories being built in the area. Country life compared to city life differs in many ways pertaining to the economy, environment, society and lifestyle. Which community would someone pick based on these factors. First, relating to the economical differences, cities have plenty of job opportunities there are many businesses and homes to work. Also, public transportation makes it easier to get to work, compared to the country. Country areas are far away from big business, so farming and living of the land is what most people do. The most important difference can be found by comparing the sociological structure of farm life to the same structure in a city. Larger communities enable all members to have more privacy than in smaller communities, thus a certain sense of “anonymity” arises which in it’s turn allows for less morally accepted behavior, because the level of social control declines to a level where it’s virtually nonexistent. In contrast with the sense of anonymity in cities, there is the small scale rural life where pretty much everyone knows everyone and as such the actions within the community are more visible and controllable than in a city. This explains the difference in mindset of rural and urban people.…
