What and How there Daily life went? Voyageurs could be identified by their clothing, they are used to be wearing a red toque and a sash around their waist. Also these people were traders, they sailed the sea to find new land and new people to trade to. They traded many goods such as fur. They traveled on large canoes with about 20 people in them. In addition, music was a huge part of everyday life for the voyageurs, for instance "À la claire fontaine" a (traditional song) When voyagers use to travel they didn't have enough time to gather or search for food on land, they had to carry food with them. The voyagers use to carry a food called "Pemmican", it is a (concentrated mixture of fat and protein used as a nutritious food).

The coureur de bois could be identified as what the first nations wore. The First Nations wore the clothing that was made from animal fur to stay warm in the cold and harsh winters. A successful coureur de bois had to possess many skills for instance, being an expert canoeist. In addition, in order to survive a coureur de bois had to complete a range of activities eg( fishing and hunting). Also the coureur de bois mostly ate fish, pemmican, pork etc. If the coureurs de bois didn't find anything to eat, they would eventually have to make a black soup that basically comes from rocks. One more fact, the coureur de bois didn't only trade fur, they also traded food, alcohol, weapons
etc.

What and How there Daily life went? In the olden times there was no use or such thing as money. So, between the 1500s - 1700s when people needed to get there needs or goods they use to barter or trade (exchange). In this case a fur trade was an important part in North America. Some of the animals that were involved in the fur trade were minks, muskrat, fox and the most wanted animal the beaver. The Indigenous people were a part of the fur trade as well. They were skilled at trapping the animals and would collect the furs in winter, and keep them until the Europeans arrived and traded them in spring.
Fisheries: A fishery is engaged in raising or harvesting fish. Also it can be a fishing ground or area where fishes are caught

It was fish that brought Europeans to North America, during this time about 500 ships set sail from France to seek these waters with fish. Also, fisheries are harvested for their values of commercial, recreational or subsistence. In addition, the fishes can be saltwater,wild or freshwater such as salmon fishery.
